As one of Texas' leading ophthalmology practices, we are committed to delivering a remarkable patient experience through compassion, expertise, and innovation. We are seeking a motivated and customer focused Surgical Leads Coordinator to join our Marketing team. This position plays a key role in connecting with prospective LASIK and cataract patients, providing education, building trust, and guiding patients through the beginning stages of their surgical journey. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong sales skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound LASIK and cataract surgery inquiries. Contact internet-generated leads within one hour of inquiry. Respond promptly to patient communication via phone, email, text, and other channels. Educate prospective patients on LASIK, cataract surgery, and other vision correction procedures. Build rapport with patients and help guide them toward scheduling consultations. Support surgery counselors by confirming consultation appointments and following up with canceled or missed appointments. Assist with surgery confirmation calls and return calls as needed. Accurately enter and track lead information and referral sources within the CRM system. Follow up with prospective patients to recover lost consultation and surgical opportunities. Support inbound call center operations during periods of increased call volume. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless and exceptional patient experience. Maintain positive working relationships with patients, physicians, and staff. Complete additional projects and responsibilities as assigned. What We're Looking For Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong sales and relationship-building abilities Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Computer proficiency and experience working with CRM systems preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of refractive surgery, cataract surgery, and ophthalmology services preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous ophthalmic or medical office experience preferred Minimum of two years of proven sales experience Customer service experience in a healthcare environment is a plus Must be based out of
