This is an excellent position for a very experienced, mature applicant who would like a part-time position in a small medical office with an evenly paced schedule and flexibility. Summary As a Pediatric Medical Secretary/Assistant, you will be essential in providing administrative support in an outpatient setting. Reporting to the office manager, you will utilize your core skills in and patient service to manage front desk operations, maintain medical records, and assist with triage processes. Your premium will enhance patient interactions and streamline office workflows. With relevant skills in Microsoft Office and customer service, you will contribute to a welcoming environment, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality care for our pediatric patients. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical administrative support in an outpatient setting, including managing patient records and scheduling appointments. Assist with triage by gathering patient information and ensuring effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. Handle front desk operations, including answering multi-line phone systems and addressing patient inquiries. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive medical information. Utilize EHR systems and Microsoft Office for efficient documentation and office management. Qualifications Proven support and office management Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient service Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft Office Familiarity with medical terminology and triage processes Experience in managing medical records and front desk operations Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical coding practices
