Full-time Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Secretary to join our Cardiology team. The ideal candidate will manage patient scheduling, accurate medical records, and ensure smooth office operations to support our cardiology physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and coordinate appointments for testing and follow-up visits for cardiology patients, ensuring timely communication and reminders Maintain and update patient medical records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations. Use of Athena EMR system preferred. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Medical Office Administration preferred Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in cardiology or specialty healthcare settings. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
