Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team! Duties Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks Schedule appointments accurately, coordinate provider calendars, and manage patient flow through medical scheduling software Collect patient information, verify insurance details, and process medical collections in compliance with HIPAA regulations Review and update medical records ensuring proper documentation review and adherence to clinical confidentiality policies Handle phone communication with professionalism, providing clear information and scheduling assistance while maintaining excellent phone etiquette Support clinical staff by managing patient intake forms, filing medical records, and maintaining health information management standards Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical administrative support role within clinics or healthcare settings Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with electronic health records management is essential Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and 10-key typing for efficient data entry Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person while demonstrating professionalism and care Previous clinic experience or dental clinic experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in documentation review and filing processes Join our team where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
