Job Description

We are looking for a detailed-oriented medical front desk clerk capable of multi-tasking while providing a pleasant, cheerful attitude towards our patients. Experience in a medical office is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors at the front desk
  • Register patients and verify their personal and insurance information
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
  • Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department
  • Collect co-pays and process payments
  • File vision insurance claims for exams/contact lens fits
  • Maintain patient records and update information in our electronic medical record systems
  • Ensure a clean and organized front desk area
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a medical office preferred
  • Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology preferred
  • Previous experience on office software and electronic medical record systems preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
