Job Description
Front Office We'd love to welcome a new addition to our amazing dental office, located in Park Circle! We are looking for a Full Time Front Desk Representative to add to our team. Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM and Friday's from 8 PM to 2 PM. You will be one of the "faces" of the office for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. A patient-oriented approach is essential. Bilingual preferred. The goal is to make our patients feel comfortable and valued while at our office. Daily tasks include but are not limited to: Determining patients eligibility and benefits utilizing insurance websites and phone. Creating and submitting treatment plans for patients and working with Insurance verification specialist to provide accurate cost. Scheduling new and existing patients via email, phone, and communications software. Importing and exporting x-rays using Eaglesoft and Dexis. Collaborate with specialists regarding patient treatment. Submit treatment plans to insurance providers for pre-authorization. Provide patients with updated treatment plans prior to treatment date. Ensuring Dr. and Hygiene schedules are full using recall and treatment reports. Checking out patients, accepting, and applying payments. Experience working in a dental office and/or some dental knowledge is preferred, but not required. Proven experience as a front desk representative or relevant position is required.
