The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent patient service abilities, experience inputting accurate insurance information, verifying eligibility and benefits, and high incoming call volume. This role is vital in ensuring smooth clinic operations, accurate documentation, and positive patient interactions. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and efficiently, manage check-in and check-out processes, including entering and verifying accurate demographic information, scheduling follow-up appointments, collecting payments and outgoing referrals. Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance eligibility checks using Veradigm PM, Phreesia and insurance carrier websites Collect and review patient documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness for billing and medical records. Handle patient inquiries via multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette while providing exceptional customer service. Maintain organized medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, appointment scheduling, and updating health information. Qualifications Proven experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a healthcare setting. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems. •
