Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detailed oriented and organized experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team, this is a part time position, three days a week. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk, providing exceptional patient service, and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with dental terminology and administrative processes. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently. Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar using Easy Dental Verify patient insurance information and handle insurance claims processing. Maintain accurate dental records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with billing, and collections as needed. Review care plans and ensure proper documentation for patient visits. Answer multi-line phone systems with professionalism, addressing patient inquiries and concerns effectively. Perform clerical tasks such as filing, typing, and data entry . Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal service delivery. Light office cleaning. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar medical office role is preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology, and health information management is essential. Strong computer skills with proficiency in typing and using multi-line phone systems. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
