Job Description

Medical Records Technician Job Specifications:
Prepare and handle information from both inside and outside the organization. This includes printing, scanning, copying, faxing, sorting, uploading, and filing documents. Name documents correctly and send them to the right medical staff member and location in the patient's medical record. Process requests for medical records by following HIPAA privacy guidelines. Verify phone, verbal, and written requests from health care providers, approved third parties, patients, or their authorized representatives. Follow the record retention schedule to store, keep, and securely dispose of patient records. Use eClinicalWorks (EHR) to update patient information, scan and route medical records, and record incoming patient documents. Work independently and as part of a team while following patient privacy laws, company policies, and established procedures.
Receptionist Job Specifications:
Provide friendly, professional customer service to patients, families, and visitors while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Work independently and as part of a team while following patient privacy laws, company policies, and established procedures. Answer and accurately direct incoming calls to the appropriate team members. Schedule patient appointments as needed. Check patients in and out for specialty provider clinics.
