Overview
Job Summary
Initiates and maintains patient medical records in systematic formats, written and/orputerized. Provides administrative office support to billing/financial/and clinical administrative area of the Women's Health Center. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the importance of the patient medical record.
- Demonstratesputer proficiency in all software systems used in the medical record department.
- Demonstrates an understanding of medical recordpleteness for the continuation of patient care.
- Demonstrates knowledge of all medical record operations.
- Completes assigned goals.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Education
Skill inmunicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
Minimum Experience
Six months experience performing medical records functions in patient care setting.
Minimum Special Skills
Basicputer literacy. Customer service skills
Minimum Licensure, Registration, Certification
Desired Experience
Twelve months experience performing medical records experience in a patient care setting.
