About the role Memphis Family & Cosmetic Dentistry is looking for a warm, organized Bilingual Front Desk Receptionist to be the first face and voice our patients encounter. A growing share of our patients are more comfortable being cared for in Spanish, and this role exists to make sure those patients feel welcomed, understood, and confident from the moment they call to the moment they check out. Schedule This is a full-time position with genuine flexibility. Our baseline is a standard full-time week, and we have consistent additional hours available for the right person who wants them. The office runs from 9am to 9pm, so we are looking for an employee to be here during the day shift, 9am-5pm or the evening shift, 5pm-9pm. What you'll do Greet and check in patients, answer multi-line phones, and manage the daily schedule Communicate fluently in both Spanish and English with patients, families, and staff — including explaining appointments, treatment plans, and financial arrangements Verify dental insurance and TennCare eligibility and benefits before appointments Collect copays and balances, post payments, and present financing options Confirm appointments, manage recall and reactivation lists, and work to minimize no-shows Keep patient records accurate and current in our practice management software Assist patients with intake forms, including helping Spanish-speaking patients complete paperwork Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area Required Fluent in both Spanish and English, spoken and written — this position regularly serves Spanish-speaking patients and language fluency is an essential function of the job High school diploma or equivalent Strong phone presence and customer service instincts Comfortable with computers and learning new software Dependable, punctual, and able to stay calm and friendly in a busy office Preferred 1+ years in a dental front office Experience with dental insurance verification, TennCare, or Medicaid billing Familiarity with dental practice management software (Open Dental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft) To apply: Apply through Indeed with your resume.
