Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Medical Receptionist to join our dermatology practice. This is a key front office role focused on providing excellent patient service and keeping daily operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in warm, professional manner. Verify insurance coverage and benefits and collect co-pays. Check out patients accurately and efficiently. Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow. Follow HIPAA guidelines. Perform general administrative tasks as required.
Skills:
Prior medical office experience is required. Familiarity with a EMR system is strongly preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
