Job Description

Position Overview Summit Neurology is seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Medical Receptionist to become one of the founding members of our growing practice. This individual will play a key role in creating an exceptional patient experience by serving as the first point of contact for our patients while supporting the daily operations of the front office. We're looking for someone who enjoys helping others, communicates professionally, thrives in a team environment, and takes pride in providing outstanding patient service. Responsibilities Welcome patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner. Schedule and confirm appointments. Register new patients and update demographic and insurance information. Verify insurance eligibility and obtain referrals or authorizations as needed. Answer and route incoming phone calls. Check patients in and out efficiently. Collect copays and balances. Scan, upload, and maintain electronic medical records. Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow. Respond to patient questions and assist with administrative requests. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements. Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming. Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications Preferred:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
