- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental software systems
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Manage patient records, including updating medical history and insurance information
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Collect payments from patients and provide receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed Skills
- Proficient in using dental software systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with office equipment and phone systems
