Company DescriptionGreen Oaks Physical Therapy (GOPT) has provided exceptional outpatient orthopedic care in the DFW metroplex for twenty-five years! Founded by Physical Therapists in 2000, GOPT now has 17 locations, allowing us to serve the people in our communities with compassionate and competent care. We have an immediate need for a full-time Medical Receptionist. The hourly pay rate is $14-$16 per hour, depending on experience.

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team in Grand Prairie, United States. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our front office. This position requires someone who is organized, customer-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Greet patients with warmth and professionalism, providing exceptional customer service from arrival through departureCoordinate patient flow from initial check-in through treatment and checkout, ensuring a seamless experienceAnswer phones promptly and professionally, directing calls appropriately and managing patient inquiries with empathy and efficiencyManage electronic scheduling systems to optimize appointment availability and minimize wait timesPerform accurate data entry and verify patient personal and financial information with meticulous attention to detailMaintain organized and secure patient charts and electronic medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulationsCollect, post, and deposit patient payments while ensuring accurate financial record-keepingHandle faxing, filing, and other administrative duties as needed to support clinical and administrative teamsDemonstrate flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced environment, multitasking effectively while maintaining composureCollaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support overall organizational goals and patient satisfactionQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ years of medical front office experience (preferred)Excellent telephone and customer service skills with strong interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with medical software systems preferredStrong attention to detail and excellent time management skillsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with a positive and energetic attitudeKnowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy healthcare environmentProblem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalismAvailability and flexibility with work hours, including potential weekend or evening shiftsOrganized approach to managing multiple responsibilities simultaneouslyCommitment to maintaining a supportive and inclusive workplace environmentAdditional InformationGreen Oaks Physical Therapy values the well-being of our patients and our employees.
