Candidates must have minimum of 1 year of experience working in a medical practice. Should have a positive attitude, good communication skills and should have an ability to work in harmony with team members. Experience using EMR and scheduling are required.
Job responsibilities:
Scheduling appointments in person and by telephone; collecting payments from Patients, scanning paperwork. Welcoming patients and visitors both on the phone and in person Communicating with patients, providers, and clinic staff. Keeping patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival and/or delays. Maintaining patient accounts and updating personal and financial information in EMR. Insurance verification Maintaining patient's rights to care, privacy, and respect. Performing other related duties in the clinic as required.
Requirements:
Healthcare experience is required Excellent telephone etiquette Good typing skills and computer knowledge Effective oral and written communication skills Attention to Detail Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to multitask EMR experience preferred Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalency Experience in a medical office setting required Working independently
