Celina Montessori Academy in Celina, TX looking to hire experienced Montessori Teachers Toddler Lead positions. Candidates must be positive, energetic, self driven, flexible, and enthusiastic. Interested teachers should be passionate about working with children and strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for students and their families. This person would also be able to supervise and train the Co-Teachers and meet with them to discuss classroom work and goals, develop lesson plans along with maintaining daily records of children's activities and progress, have excellent communication skills both in written form and in speaking, and have regular, proactive communication with families throughout the school year. The applicants must be AMS, AMI,MACTE or other Montessori certified. An ideal candidate two or more years of experience in leading a Montessori environment. Celina Montessori Academy is seeking individuals that have a love for children, possess a growth-mindset, are organized self-starters, are a team player and are flexible and sensitive to the needs that arise in the life of an active school.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Must have a Montessori Teacher Certification Must have at least 2-3 years full time teaching experience in a Montessori school Good verbal and written skills Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills Must be kind, thoughtful and creative at guiding children in a self-motivated learning environment and helping stimulate their natural desire to learn Must be able to work indoors / outdoors and engage in physical activity Ensure the safety of children through constant supervision Must be able to work with other staff members as a contributing member of our team
JOB DUTIES
Responsible for preparation of the classroom environment, materials and equipment; ensure that all materials are available. Develop and make materials as needed Plan and implement the Montessori curriculum. Give appropriate presentations and establish a record keeping system to track the child's progress Must be flexible with classroom placement and hours of work Maintaining a clean and safe environment. Displaying a professional attitude and appearance Assist in the cleanliness and maintenance of the outdoor environment Attend all faculty meetings, teacher trainings, and scheduled staff events Adhere to the guidelines and school policies as established in the employee handbook Prepare progress reports for students and be available for parent teacher conference Meet the yearly training hour requirements by attending workshops and training seminars
