Responsibilities
- Estimate patient's portion of services by using appropriate insurance fee schedule or sliding fee scale.
- Work as a liaison between the clients and the dental providers.
- Follow established policies and guidelines for processing patients to be seen.
- Verify Insurance eligibility.
- Collect and track data necessary for patient follow-up and reporting
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Educational Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Typical Physical DemandsFinger Dexterity:
Using fingers to make small movements such as typing or picking up small objects. Normal fine and gross motor control of fingers and hands.Talking:
Frequently conveying detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, clearly, or quickly.- Provide outstanding customer service to our patients and the public.
- Check patients in to the EMR system.
- Answer phone calls, provide appropriate assistance, and redirect calls appropriately.
- Verify patient demographic information (e.g., address, phone number) at every visit
Hearing:
Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information; hear whispered voice at five (5) feet.Repetitive Motions:
Frequently and regularly using the wrists, hands, and fingers.Visual:
Visual acuity necessary for the proper evaluation of a patient and to prepare or inspect documents or other materials. Ability to accurately view computer monitorsPhysical:
Sitting 70-80% of time and standing, walking 20-30% of time. Lift up to 20-40 lbs; push and pull up to 20-40 lbs. Able to bend at the waist, twist and turn along axial plane.Job Type:
