Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Medical Front Office Worker to join our healthcare team in Calallen. This role is vital in providing exceptional patient service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This employee will be responsible for multitasking, strong work ethic, high energy, friendly, dependable, and have a strong eye for detail.
Front office duties include:
check in, check out, collecting copays, schedule patients, verify insurances, authorizations, medical records, auditing, filing, etc. Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical environment with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and compassionate patient care. Duties Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette on multi-line phone systems Schedule appointments and manage patient intake using EMR system Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification processes Collect payments and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review for billing and care plans Assist with data entry including 10 key typing and documentation in Microsoft Office applications Manage front desk operations including filing, faxing, and handling multi-line phones efficiently Support clinical staff with administrative tasks related to health information management and office management Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines while handling sensitive patient information Maintain a clean and organized front office environment Experience (preferred) Prior clinic or medical office experience, especially within dental or hospital settings Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, and insurance verification processes Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and office management software Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle patient inquiries professionally in person or over the phone Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse patient populations effectively This position is integral to providing high-quality administrative support within a healthcare setting. Candidates who demonstrate attention to detail, confidentiality adherence under HIPAA standards, and effective communication will thrive in this role.
Pay:
Up to $65,000.00 per year
