As a Front Desk Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients. You will greet customers as they arrive, book appointments, answer phone calls, and collect payment. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication, and computer skills, and is capable of multitasking. Responsibilities Greet patients and manage front desk check-in and check-out Collect copays, outstanding balances, and payments accurately and professionally Answer incoming phone calls and schedule office visits and procedures Perform reminder and follow-up calls to patients Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations for procedures and imaging Communicate with insurance companies as needed Maintain accurate patient information in the electronic medical record Support coordination of care between patients, providers, and external facilities Ensure patient privacy and HIPAA compliance at all times Qualifications Previous experience in a medical front desk or healthcare administrative role preferred Working knowledge of medical insurance, benefits, and authorizations strongly recommended Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Positive, patient-focused attitude Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Comfortable in a busy clinical setting with frequent patient interaction Problem-solving mindset and flexibility with daily workflows
