Desoto, TX Job Description We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk / Patient Check In professional to join our healthcare team in Desoto, TX. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival. Check patients in by verifying personal and insurance information. Schedule and confirm patient appointments using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly. Collect co-pays and process payments accurately. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry as needed. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient flow. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a medical office or front desk role preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient with computers and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
