The Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients, providing a welcoming and professional experience in our clinic. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, handling phone calls, and maintaining accurate records. The Medical Receptionist supports the clinical team by ensuring smooth patient flow, delivering excellent customer service, and upholding confidentiality and compliance standards. Hours:
Monday•Thursday, 8:00 AM•5:00 PM and Friday 8am-12pm Key Responsibilities for
Medical Receptionist:
Promptly and professionally handle incoming calls, routing them as needed. Schedules new patient referrals. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is properly filed Answer patient inquiries related to their visit, billing, or next steps Float to patient check-in and check-out area as needed. Qualifications for
Medical Receptionist:
Previous experience in a medical receptionist or customer service role required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently Familiarity with eClinical Works EMR systems is a plus Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
