The primary focus of the Front Desk Receptionist is to welcome each patient and provide quality service. You will assist with paperwork, scheduling and answering any questions that patients or parents may have.
You will be responsible for:
Scheduling patients in accordance with office policies, protocols and time blocks. Confirming contact information including address, telephone number and email. Working closely with the clinical team by communicating any necessary information to assist each patient. Answering high volume of patient telephone calls. Collecting and posting payments from patients. Communicating with other dental offices and specialists regarding referrals, existing x-rays, claim history and any conditions of mutual patients. Scanning letters, referrals, and records from other offices into patient's account and document appropriately. Preparing all new patient and recall paperwork for the next day. Gathering and verifying insurance benefits.Skills:
