Front desk clerk for a busy medical office.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Manage patient check-in /out procedures Schedule and manage appointments Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and data entry Maintain accurate patient records and medical charts Collect patient co-pays and other payments Process insurance verifications & prior authorizations

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficiency in computer skills and medical terminology Ability to work independently and as part of a team A positive and professional attitude Reliable and Dependable.
