Lead, Medical Front Office Specialist US Heart & Vascular - 3.3 Houston, TX Job Details Full-time 8 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Medical records Productivity software Full Job Description US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Lead Medical Front Office Specialist to join our team at Houston Cardiovascular Associates in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver onboarding plan for new recruits. Provide ongoing coaching, accountability, and performance feedback to team members of front office team. Monitor productivity and optimize workflow efficiency across Front Desk and Medical Records functions, especially with respect to clinic downtimes Monitor HCVA Phreesia dashboard Manage department schedules, coordinate PTO requests and ensure staffing coverage Ensure adherence to team protocols and service standards. Provide timely reporting of KPI-related issues to leadership. Represent front office operations and collaborate with practice leadership to identify process improvements in daily huddles. Provide real-time feedback and operational updates to front-line employees. Serve as point of contact for complex patient inquiries and operational issues.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical call center or patient access role. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically eClinicalWorks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
