PM Position Summary:
Our Pulmonary & Critical Care practice is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Office Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strong multitasker with excellent communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced medical office. This position requires occasional travel to our other office locations as needed.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner. Schedule appointments for multiple providers while maintaining efficient workflow. Verify patient information and accurately enter data into the electronic medical record (EMR). Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries. Coordinate patient check-in and check-out processes. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality. Collaborate effectively with providers and fellow staff members. Travel to other office locations as needed to provide front office support. Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous medical receptionist or medical office experience preferred. Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a plus. Strong computer and data entry skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy healthcare environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients and colleagues. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong customer service skills. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between office locations when needed. Pay:
$16.00•$19.00 per hour
