Job Description
Duties for this position include: Medical records and referrals. Process incoming and outgoing medical record requests from doctors, insurance companies, or patients. Acting as a liaison between patients and medical support staff. Answering telephones. Checking in patients, verifying and updating necessary information in EMR. Checking out patients, collecting copays or deductibles Maintaining work area, lobby and patient flow Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Works efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
