Job Description

THIS POSITION IS 3RD SHIFT, 10PM - 6AM
Please note that weekends may be required based on business needsSummary:
The Expeditor will work independently and cooperatively to meet and / or exceed the expectations of the customer, company and department, through established and maintained procedures. Responsible for coordinating and verification of ingredients to ensure accurate processing of divisional manufacturing ingredients during their designated shift. May be required prep or perform any additional responsibilities assigned by leadership.Duties:
- Responsible for prepped recipe ingredient verification.
- Responsible for accurate documentation of ingredients and lot numbers to ensure inventory accuracy and allocation of materials.
- Responsible for ensuring each line has appropriate recipes in queue and safely transporting all ingredients from prep.
- Communicate with production leadership and stay up to date with production schedule productivity.
- Communicate with supervisor of any wrong or missing ingredients and/or prep delays.
- Verify departmental HACCP, GMP, and Allergen guidelines are followed, and ensure integrity of all ingredients, minimizing/eliminating the possibility of foreign material being introduced throughout the manufacturing process.
- Safely operated manual and/or electric pallet jacks. (Plant Certification).
- Organize and maintain staging areas so recipes are grouped together and easy to find.
- Responsible for prepping ingredients if needed.
- Attend Training that is made available in relation to job description
- Ability to train new staff within the department if needed
- Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned.
Experience:
- Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and training. -Basic Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
