CST Monday-Friday Clinic Locations:
Mesquite and Plano. Travel is required. Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Receptionist, where you'll be the welcoming face and efficient coordinator at the front desk of an orthopedic practice. Dallas Orthopedic Associates operates at 2 locations. Your energetic and organized approach will ensure smooth patient flow, accurate appointment scheduling, and seamless administrative support. Duties Greet patients in Mesquite and Plano offices, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures Schedule appointments accurately using Practice EHR Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Collect copays, deductibles, or balances Daily balancing Superbill preparation Manage patient records with meticulous attention to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Handle incoming calls with professionalism, providing clear information and directing inquiries appropriately Triage and handle incoming faxes Maintain organized filing systems for medical records and perform data entry tasks with precision using Microsoft Office tools and 10-key typing skills Support clinical staff by managing appointment reminders, patient follow-ups, and documentation review to ensure compliance with healthcare policies Other duties as assigned Skills Proven experience in medical administrative support within a clinical setting with strong clerical skills Knowledge of health insurance processes including Medicare billing and health information management policies Excellent phone etiquette, customer service orientation, and ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations; bilingual skills are a plus Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; capable of handling filing, data entry, and 10-key typing efficiently Ability to maintain clinical confidentiality policies while managing sensitive patient information Experience with medical scheduling software and front desk operations in a busy clinic environment
Pay:
$14.00 - $20.00 per hour
