Medical Receptionist Lotus Psychiatric Services is a private practice located in North Richland Hills, TX. We are a small, close knit group of caring, professional medical professionals who are committed to our patients and colleagues. We are looking for a Medical Receptionist who is friendly, professional, and efficient. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office setting as a receptionist or administrative assistant. This position is responsible for patient checkins/check outs, greeting patients, answering calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office cleanliness. The position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet all patients and visitors to the office promptly and professionally. Perform patient check-in, which includes recording patient's vitals (height, weight, BP and heart rate). Answer all incoming phone calls and route appropriately to the appropriate person or department. Schedule patient appointments as required in the EHR (Electronic Health Records software) tool (training will be provided). Maintain medical records in the EHR according to established policies and procedures. Follow all infection control policies in all work areas. Maintain an organized workspace with attention to detail in all areas of work including filing, filing systems, etc.. Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Medical administrative support experience (1 year atleast)
  • Proficiency in medical office tasks
  • Strong computer skills, including EMR systems
  • Excellent patient service and communication abilities
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
