Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of medical office operations. Candidate must be able to communicate in Spanish. As a Medical Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, handling medical records, and supporting clinical staff to ensure smooth and efficient clinic functioning. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming environment. Schedule patient appointments Verify patient insurance information and assist with health insurance inquiries. Manage patient records by updating electronic health records (EHR), reviewing documentation for accuracy, and maintaining confidentiality. Handle phone communication with patients, providers, and insurance companies with professionalism Requirements Proven experience in a medical office setting with familiarity in medical administrative support and front desk operations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person. Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Bilingual abilities are required to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Prior clinic experience or medical office management is highly desirable. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
