Medical Receptionist Cardiology and Transplant Associates - 2.5 Pearland, TX Job Details Full-time $14 - $16 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications English Medical administrative support EMR/EHR Full Job Description Overview Independent cardiology practice seeking a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. You will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors providing excellent customer service and guiding them through check-in and check-out processes Schedule patient appointments using eClinicalWorks EMR Verify patient insurance coverage and perform collections related to copays or outstanding balances Handle phone communication with professionalism, answering inquiries, confirming appointments, and directing calls appropriately Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and clinic confidentiality policies Support other team members as requested Desired Qualifications/Experience Prior cardiology or medical office experience as well as proficiency in or familiarity with eClinicalWorks are highly preferred Working knowledge and understanding of health insurance processes Bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities are a plus Understanding of clinical confidentiality policies and healthcare regulations
