Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Front Office Medical Coordinator, where your organizational skills and compassionate customer service will set the tone for a positive patient experience. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring smooth clinic operations through efficient scheduling, accurate documentation, and effective communication. Your expertise in medical administrative support and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems will contribute to delivering exceptional care coordination and administrative excellence. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service while managing front desk operations. Schedule patient appointments using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Verify insurance coverage, process medical collections, and facilitate billing procedures in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage medical records and electronic health records (EHR), ensuring proper filing, confidentiality, and adherence to clinical confidentiality policies. Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette; handle inquiries related to appointments, billing, or health information management. Assist with medical scheduling, patient check-in/out processes, and clerical tasks such as data entry and filing Skills Proven experience in medical office management or administrative support within a healthcare setting. Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems Familiarity with insurance verification and collecting copayments Excellent communication skills with bilingual abilities preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with strong computer skills for documentation review and data management. Deep understanding of HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies to ensure patient privacy at all times. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and medical records management. Pay:
$12.50 - $14.50 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
