Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Office Receptionist/Scheduler/Front Office Administrator to join our vibrant growing periodontal & oral surgery practice. This role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for patients while ensuring smooth daily operations. You will be the first point of contact, managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and handling administrative tasks with professionalism and enthusiasm. Your proactive approach will contribute to delivering exceptional patient service and maintaining efficient clinic workflows. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a dedicated healthcare team committed to excellence. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, answer phone calls with professionalism, and provide outstanding customer service Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using Dentrix. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes while verifying insurance details and updating records accurately Handle dental billing, collections, and coding procedures, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Maintain organized dental/medical records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with clinical confidentiality policies Assist with documentation review, health information management, and filing of dental records Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate treatment plans and ensure timely patient flow within the clinic Skills Proven experience in medical office administration, front desk support, or healthcare reception roles Knowledge of Dentrix software; proficiency in electronic health records management is important, but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with phone etiquette and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Familiarity with dental terminology and dental insurance process is desirable, but not mandatory. Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook). Knowledge of dental coding (ICD coding), billing procedures, and documentation review processes is desirable, but not mandatory. Pay:
$17.00 - $25.00 per hour
