Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Insurance Specialist/Front Office Administrator to join our vibrant dental practice. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing insurance verifications, understanding billing, managing patient charts, scheduling,claims processing, and ensuring smooth front office operations. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment while efficiently handling administrative tasks related to dental insurance and patient records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your expertise in managed care, dental terminology, and office management to deliver exceptional patient service and streamline practice workflows. Duties Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits using managed care systems to ensure accurate billing and eligibility verification Process insurance claims accurately utilizing CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes, ICD-9, ICD-10, and ICD coding standards Maintain comprehensive medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-in/check-out procedures, and maintain organized medical records Communicate effectively with insurance companies to resolve claim discrepancies and follow up on unpaid or denied claims Educate patients on their insurance benefits, coverage limitations, and payment options Assist with billing procedures, including submitting claims and tracking reimbursements to optimize revenue flow Experience Proven experience working in a dental office environment with a focus on insurance verification and claims processing Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards for handling sensitive medical information Prior experience with dental records management and office administration tasks Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with patients, insurance providers, and team members Ability to navigate insurance portals and manage multiple administrative responsibilities efficiently Join us in delivering top-tier dental care through energetic service and meticulous administrative support!
