Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk with professionalism and enthusiasm Schedule appointments efficiently using electronic scheduling systems and confirm upcoming visits Handle patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy in all documentation Verify insurance coverage, review health information, and assist with prior authorizations in compliance with HIPAA regulations Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and providing patient support Assist with documentation review, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and ensure proper medical documentation for care plans Support clinic operations through filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing medical records efficiently Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and ensure timely appointment scheduling Experience Prior clinic or medical office experience is highly preferred; familiarity with audiology or ENT clinics is a plus Strong knowledge of health insurance procedures including Medicare and other commercial plans Demonstrated ability to handle medical billing, coding (ICD-10/CPT), and documentation review accurately Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for administrative tasks Exceptional customer service skills combined with clerical experience in a healthcare setting are necessary to succeed in this role Join us to make a difference by providing compassionate support in a vibrant audiology environment!
