Looking for a friendly, dependable, energetic and an Experienced
FULL TIME
Medical Assistant for a busy Primary Care/Internal Medicine Practice. We are a fun place to work, we love to take care of our team members and treat them like family. We are a great team with a great set of providers who care about their patients. The position we are looking to fill requires a person with excellent customer service, attention to detail, with positive attitude. Our new team member should be able to work independently or with the team, and able to motivate others. The position may be cross trained to work in both front (clerical) and back office (medical). The position hours are 8:00-5:00pm Monday-Friday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Scheduling patients Patient Check In / Check Out including Insurance verification and pre-certs Scheduling diagnostic tests and procedures Follow provider documenting visit with the patient into the EMR as requested Send orders and prescriptions as needed. Prepping for the upcoming appointments Completing appropriate paperwork Answering phones, filing, mailing, faxing, scanning Verify Health Insurance Education & Experience needed: High School Graduate or Equivalent Experience in an outpatient doctor's office is preferable EMR, preferably eClinicalWorks (ECW) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be detail oriented and demonstrate time management skills Ability to multi-task while remaining focused upon providing exceptional patient care & service References/Background check required. Pay based on experience.

$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
