Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage all front desk activities with enthusiasm and professionalism Schedule appointments accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, or eClinicalWorks Verify patient insurance coverage, process payments, and handle medical billing including Medicare and health insurance claims Maintain comprehensive medical records and ensure documentation review aligns with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Manage phone communication with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries and coordinating appointment reminders Assist with clinical documentation review, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and care plan updates to support billing accuracy Support clinic operations by filing documents, managing electronic health records (EHR), and performing general clerical tasks such as typing, filing, and data entry with high accuracy Qualifications Proven experience in medical administrative support or medical office management within a dental or healthcare setting Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks Knowledge of medical terminology, health information management, and clinical confidentiality policies Experience with medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), insurance processing, and documentation review Excellent customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a caring healthcare environment.
