Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Healthcare Receptionist, where you will be the welcoming face and efficient coordinator at the front desk of our medical facility. Your energetic and positive attitude will ensure a smooth patient experience from check-in to check-out. You will handle a variety of administrative tasks, manage patient appointments, and support clinical staff with essential documentation and communication. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact in a fast-paced healthcare environment, making a meaningful difference in patient care and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in/check-out procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, or Athenahealth. Schedule patient appointments accurately, coordinate with clinical staff, and manage calendar updates efficiently. Review and update medical records while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies. Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages when necessary. Perform clerical duties including data entry with 10 key typing skills, filing documents, and managing office supplies to ensure an efficient front desk operation. Experience Prior clinic or medical office experience is highly preferred Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Experience handling medical administrative support tasks such as appointment scheduling. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report generation and correspondence management. Knowledge of clinical confidentiality policies and healthcare regulations ensures compliance at all times.
