We're excited to add a positive, team-oriented individual to our team, with an anticipated start date of Monday, September 28, 2026. Key Responsibilities Answer phones, check voicemails, and return patient calls. Check in patients and collect applicable payments. Schedule and confirm mammography and ultrasound appointments. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits and communicate estimated out-of-pocket costs. Coordinate screening and diagnostic mammograms, ultrasounds, callbacks, and follow-up imaging. Review orders and ensure required reports and prior imaging are available for diagnostic appointments. Communicate with patients, referring offices, radiologists, and clinical staff. Assist with patient recall lists, result letters, and follow-up documentation. Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information. Support front-end billing and insurance processes as needed. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements and office procedures. Qualifications Previous medical front desk or healthcare office experience preferred. Experience with insurance verification and benefits strongly preferred. General familiarity with medical billing terminology and processes preferred. Experience using an EMR, practice management, scheduling, or medical billing system is a plus. Strong computer and data-entry skills. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy medical office. Ability to communicate professionally with patients, insurance companies, referring offices, and clinical staff. Dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team. Radiology, mammography, or diagnostic imaging experience is a plus. Must be team-oriented, enthusiastic, and have a positive attitude. Must be willing to work collaboratively and contribute to a supportive, patient-focused work environment.
