Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, professional, and experienced Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy outpatient medical practice.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in/check out patients in a friendly and professional manner. Answer and manage a high volume of incoming telephone calls. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. Perform insurance eligibility and benefits verification. Obtain and update patient demographic and insurance information. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, pharmacies, and other healthcare offices. Handle front-desk administrative duties and patient inquiries. Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
Qualifications:
Previous medical front desk/reception experience strongly preferred. Experience with insurance verification and medical scheduling. Ability to efficiently handle a busy, high-volume phone environment. Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW)
IS A MUST.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Professional, courteous, dependable, and organized. Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced outpatient medical office. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with electronic medical records.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly position with competitive pay based on experience. Paid time off (PTO). Additional benefits available to qualifying employees. Stable outpatient medical-office environment.
