Job Description
Eye Physicians of Southwest Virginia, a multi-office ophthalmic and optometric practice, currently has a position open at our Abingdon, VA, office for a front-office receptionist. The candidate must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, caring, organized, and hard-working, with excellent interpersonal and computer skills. Must have knowledge and/or experience with:
SUMMARY
To perform all job functions courteously and professionally consistent with the mission and goals of Eye Physicians of Southwest Virginia, PC. Primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service to all patients by utilizing an in-depth knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of one year of experience in a customer service setting. Position requires excellent verbal communication skills, multitasking capabilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork is critical. Prior healthcare experience is a plus.SUMMARY
