Overview Smile at Ashburn Dental is seeking a warm, energetic, and organized Dental Front Desk / Receptionist to join our practice! In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our office, managing patient check-ins, answering phone calls, handling scheduling, and coordinating insurance and billing details to ensure a seamless experience for our patients. Responsibilities Warmly greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures. Answer incoming calls, address patient inquiries, and schedule appointments efficiently. Verify dental insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility prior to patient appointments. Process patient payments, collect co-pays, and discuss treatment estimates and financial arrangements. Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate schedule flow with the clinical team. Ensure full compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines. Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in a dental office front desk, administrative, or customer service role. Knowledge of dental terminology, scheduling, and dental insurance procedures. Experience with dental practice management software (such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental). Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, phone etiquette, and customer service skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
