Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Receptionist to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional patient service. This role involves managing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and fostering a welcoming environment for both patients and staff. Responsibilities Manage front office operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and insurance verification. Ensure accurate health information management and maintain up-to-date medical records. Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Oversee the scheduling of appointments to optimize patient flow and clinic efficiency. Implement office policies and procedures to enhance productivity while maintaining a high standard of care. Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure seamless communication between clinical and administrative teams. Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. Qualifications Must have experience in a dental office. Proven experience in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical scheduling, health information management, and customer service principles. Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff. Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in medical administrative support is advantageous.
