IMPLEMENT TREATMENT PLANS
Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with billing and insurance claims processing, including familiarity with managed care and financial management practices. Coordinate communication between patients and dental staff, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Support the dental team by preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary equipment is sterilized and ready for use. Oversee office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Assist in training new staff members, providing guidance on office protocols and systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Skills Strong understanding of medical terminology and experience with EMR/EHR systems. Knowledge of fiscal management, budgeting, and financial oversight within a healthcare setting. Previous experience in a dental clinic or medical office environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with various healthcare management software including eClinicalWorks, Epic, or similar systems is beneficial. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage patient interactions effectively. Experience in human resources or supervising staff is an asset. Background in nursing or acute care can enhance the understanding of patient needs within the dental context. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating strong independent work capabilities.
