Job Description
Mountain Ridge Pediatrics is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Clinical Front Office Team Member to join our pediatric outpatient practice. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and families and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented medical office. Position Summary The Clinical Front Office team member is responsible for providing a welcoming experience for patients and families while supporting the daily clinical and administrative operations of the practice. The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a busy pediatric environment. Responsibilities Greet patients and families in a warm, professional manner Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately Verify patient demographics and insurance information Schedule and manage appointments, including follow-up visits Answer phones and respond to patient questions appropriately Communicate with parents/guardians regarding appointments, forms, and office needs Coordinate patient flow between the front office and clinical staff Assist clinical staff with administrative and patient-care support as needed Process referrals, medical records, school forms, and other patient documentation Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments Maintain accurate and confidential patient records Follow HIPAA and office policies and procedures Provide excellent customer service to patients, parents, and caregivers Work collaboratively with providers, nurses, medical assistants, and other office staff Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office, pediatric practice, or healthcare setting preferred; but willing to train the right individual Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working with children and families Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements Experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred Medical terminology and insurance verification experience preferred What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Compassionate and patient-centered Positive and professional Dependable and accountable Comfortable working as part of a team Able to remain calm and organized during busy clinic days Willing to learn and take initiative Passionate about providing excellent care and service to children and their families Schedule Full-Time | Monday-Friday Rotating Saturday schedule 9a-12p Why Join Our Team?
