Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a positive first impression Manage patient appointments by scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming upcoming visits using patient management software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing accurate information or directing calls to appropriate staff members Verify patient insurance details, process payments, and handle billing inquiries in accordance with health insurance policies Maintain patient confidentiality by adhering to strict privacy regulations and data security protocols Prepare and update medical records accurately, ensuring compliance with health regulation policies and proper documentation standards Support medical staff with administrative tasks such as data entry, document scanning, and managing correspondence Requirements Proven experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment as a receptionist or administrative support role Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes Knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient privacy and data security (e.g., HIPAA compliance) Familiarity with patient management software, Electronic Health Records (EHR), or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for efficient record keeping Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person Understanding of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical information and assist in documentation processes Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Typing skills that ensure quick and accurate data entry during busy periods Join us in making a difference by providing compassionate care and seamless administrative support!
