The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Manage medical scheduling, including appointments, follow-ups, and cancellations. Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Check Insurance Eligibility and Enter in Insurance Information Accurately. Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence. Manage Faxes Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area. Requirements Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist in Family Medicine Knowledge of entering in insurance information/checking insurance eligibility Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and scheduling software. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy environment. Experience working in a medical office setting A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent patient care are essential.
