A well-established Periodontal and Implant Specialist practice is looking for an experienced Full-Time Dental Front Desk Administrator to join our incredible team! Our practice is built around patient-centered care and strong, lasting relationships with our patients and referring dental offices. We are looking for the right person who shares those values and is interested in a long-term opportunity to grow with our team . The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, organized, and positive, and understands that the front desk plays an essential role in creating an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out before and after treatment. Answer incoming calls and handle new patient inquiries, emergencies, records requests, follow-ups, and other patient communications. Schedule, coordinate, and confirm patient appointments. Discuss treatment needs and present treatment plans to patients. Review treatment costs, insurance benefits, patient accounts, and financial obligations with patients. Document treatment and financial transactions, including financial arrangements, prepayments for larger cases, financing, and collections. Ensure patient paperwork, medical information, and consent forms are current and properly scanned into patient records. Manage unscheduled patients, ASAP lists, and pending treatment lists to encourage patient follow-through and help meet scheduling goals. Communicate professionally with referring dental offices, insurance companies, and other dental partners. Assist with general front-office and administrative duties. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of dental office experience required , with a strong understanding of dental terminology and insurance benefits. Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Comfortable discussing treatment costs, insurance benefits, patient accounts, and financial arrangements. Detail-oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize and multitask in a busy dental practice. Strong computer skills. Positive attitude and a genuine team player.
