$22 - $25/hour (based on experience) Position Summary We are one of the newest dental office in Winchester seeking to expand our team by hiring a highly experienced Front Office Receptionist with at least 4 years of dental office experience, especially in insurance and patient coordination. The ideal candidate will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for patients, managing front office operations, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and the clinical team. As the practice grows, this role offers the opportunity to be promoted to Office Manager. Key Responsibilities Greet patients, answer phones, and provide excellent customer service. Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, cancellations, and recall system. Verify insurance benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, and process claims. Present treatment plans and assist patients with financial arrangements. Handle patient check-in and check-out, including payment collection. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Support the dentist and clinical team with administrative tasks. Assist in establishing and improving front office systems and processes. Have an experience in Open Dental software is an advantage. Qualifications Minimum 4 years of experience in a dental front office role. Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification, billing, and claims. Experience as a patient coordinator preferred. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Friendly, professional, and compassionate communication style. Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar). Desire to take on more responsibility and grow into a leadership role.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 32.0 per week
